"The Perfect Storm"

After a string of bad luck and disappointing catches, Billy Tyne (George Clooney), captain of the Massachusetts swordfishing boat the "Andrea Gail," gathers a crew to make one final trip for the season. Convinced his luck will change, Tyne pilots the ship past the usual limits and into a remote area known for its rich fishing prospects. But when a string of disturbing weather patterns forms, the crew finds itself caught in the center of a storm unlike any ever recorded. Based on the best-selling novel by Sebastian Junger, the film also stars Mark Wahlberg and Diane Lane. Directed by Wolfgang Peterson.
