REALITY BITES WHEN SCI-FI WRITER MEETS WITH MYSTERIOUS END -- When an author of science-fiction novels is found dead -- drained of all blood and with bite marks in his neck -- Nigel (Steve Valentine) is quick to encourage Woody (Jerry O'Connell) to consider the possibility that a vampire attacked the man as he was working on his latest tome, "Vampires Revealed." Meanwhile, Jordan (Jill Hennessy) is called to determine the cause of death of an unidentified man found on the Appalachian Trail. The discovery of a camera clasped in his decomposing hand offers photographic clues to the circumstances surrounding his demise and leads the investigation into the woods to the doorstep of a real-estate mogul (guest star John D'Aquino, "JAG"). Miguel Ferrer, Ravi Kapoor, and Jennifer Finnigan also star.
