EMMY AND GOLDEN GLOBE AWARD WINNER TOM SELLECK AND MIMI ROGERS STAR IN "STONE COLD," A NEW TELEVISION MOVIE TO BE BROADCAST SUNDAY, FEB. 20 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

STONE COLD, starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Tom Selleck ("Magnum P.I.") and Mimi Rogers ("The Door in the Floor"), will be broadcast as the "CBS Sunday Movie," Sunday, Feb. 20 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The movie, based on the best-selling Jesse Stone series of novels by Robert B. Parker, is about a hard-drinking, hard-living small town police chief who, after a series of murders panic the town's residents, must pull his life together in order to track down the killer.

Jesse Stone (Tom Selleck) is a former L.A. homicide detective who left behind the big city and an ex-wife to become the police chief of the quiet New England fishing town of Paradise. Stone's old habits die hard as he continues to indulge his two favorite things -- scotch and women. When a series of murders takes place and a high school girl is raped, he's forced to face his own demons in order to solve the crimes. And, since these are the first murders to occur in Paradise, Jesse must also train his inexperienced staff of police officers to assist in the investigation to find the killers and the rapist before they can strike again.

Mimi Rogers plays Rita Fiore, an attorney who catches Stone's eye while defending one of the accused rapists.

Tom Selleck was recently seen in the four-hour the mini-series "Scott Turow's Reversible Errors," on the Network.
