ABC News' Special Edition of "Primetime" Airs Wednesday, December 29 at 10:00 p.m., ET

Charles Gibson anchors a special edition of "Primetime," "Tsunami: Wave of Destruction," WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 29 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. This one-hour special examines the chain of events that led to the devastating destruction in South Asia, the impact of relief efforts beginning to arrive in the region and the science of tsunamis, and looks back at other catastrophic natural disasters. The special also will include eyewitness accounts from survivors and a look at what experts are doing to brace for a potential aftershock.

Mr. Gibson will report the latest developments, and ABC News correspondents Mark Litke in Thailand and Nick Watt in Sri Lanka will contribute live reports.
