RODNEY'S SUSPICIONS ARE RAISED AFTER CHARLIE ANNOUNCES HER SURPRISE WEDDING TO HER COLLEGE PROFESSOR, ON ABC'S "RODNEY"

"Tassels" - Charlie surprises everyone when she tells them that she and her latest boyfriend, Kirk, her college professor, are getting married the following week. Rodney, who has his own suspicions about Kirk, gets another surprise when he sees Carl, his father-in-law, being more friendly to Kirk than he has ever been to Rodney, and the two finally have it out about their relationship, on "Rodney," TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 1 (9:30-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Rodney" stars Rodney Carrington as Rodney Hamilton, Jennifer Aspen as Trina Hamilton, Amy Pietz as Charlie, Nick Searcy as Barry, Oliver Davis as Jack Hamilton and Matthew Josten as Bo Hamilton.

Guest starring is Mac Davis as Carl, Todd Stashwick as Kirk and Robert Clendenin as Plumber Dave.

"Tassels" was written by Steve Joe and Greg Schaffer and directed by Gail Mancuso.

"Rodney" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
