"Romancing the Joan" -- God tells Joan to do an extra credit English assignment on Romantic Movement poets � after which a conflicted Joan finds herself wondering if she's meant to be with Adam or her smitten college student tutor, Roger, on JOAN OF ARCADIA, Friday, Feb. 11 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Joanna Kerns ("Growing Pains: Return of the Seavers") directed the episode written by Barbara Hall, the series creator and one of the series' executive producers.

Actress, singer/songwriter Haylie Duff ("Napolean Dynamite") guest stars in this episode -- and the next two consecutive episodes.

While feeling pangs of jealousy that Adam is being shadowed by Stevie (Duff), an attractive, perky classmate who is acting as his assistant in Design Shop for school credit in art, Joan's inner turmoil mounts when she begins to feel an attraction to her handsome tutor. Meanwhile, incensed by Will's refusal to have an affair with her, Lucy uses her power against him at work. Additionally, Helen is plagued by suspicions that Will is romantically involved with Lucy, and Kevin and Lilly go on a date.
