A FORMER COLLEGE PROFESSOR ASKS RUSH TO RE-OPEN A MURDER CASE INVOLVING ONE OF HIS STUDENTS SO THAT HE CAN FINALLY CLEAR HIS NAME, ON A REBROADCAST OF "COLD CASE," ON A SPECIAL TIME, SUNDAY, FEB. 6 AT 9:00 PM

"Hubris" -- Rush is approached by Roy Minard, a former college professor whose career ended in disgrace when he was the prime suspect in the violent murder of one of his students, on a rebroadcast of COLD CASE, on a special time, Sunday, Feb. 6 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Agnieska Holland directed the episode from a script by Kim Newton and Stacy Kravetz. (Originally broadcast 1/11/04)

Though Minard admits to having had an affair with Holly, he maintains his innocence and offers Rush and Valens a compelling new theory on the murder, hoping to finally clear his name and return to academia. As Lilly re-opens the case, she speaks with several witnesses to Holly and Minard's relationship, including a schizophrenic ex-classmate (Barry Tepler) who was in love with the young woman and appears to have had a strong motive for committing the crime.
