JAKE TRIES TO ONE-UP HIS BIGGEST RIVAL, WHEN ABC'S "JAKE IN PROGRESS" PREMIERES IN ITS REGULAR TIME PERIOD, THURSDAY, MARCH 17 ON ABC

"Rivals and Departures" - Jake drives himself crazy trying to one-up his biggest rival, super publicist Peter Beth (guest star Bradley White), and he thinks he's finally done it when he convinces a glamorous actress (guest star Joanna Pacula) to be his date for Peter's birthday bash. Meanwhile, when Patrick finds out that Peter is David Blaine's publicist, he's determined to crash the party, when "Jake in Progress" premieres in its regular time period, THURSDAY, MARCH 17 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Jake in Progress" stars John Stamos as Jake, Ian Gomez as Adrian, Rick Hoffman as Patrick and Wendie Malick as Naomi.

Guest starring are David Hornsby as Ken, Joanna Pacula as Elsa, Bradley White as Peter Beth, Jim Rash as Freddie, Marin Mazzie as Susan and Smalls as the bouncer.

"Rivals and Departures" was written by Stephen Lloyd and directed by Michael Spiller.

"Jake in Progress" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.

This program carries a TV-PG,D,L,S parental guideline.
