AFTER NINE SEASONS, "EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND" SAYS FAREWELL IN A HALF-HOUR SERIES FINALE, MAY 16 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

"The Finale" -- After nine seasons, the hit comedy EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND says farewell in a half-hour series finale, Monday, May 16 (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Gary Halvorson directed the episode from a script by executive producer and series creator Philip Rosenthal, series star and executive producer Ray Romano, executive producers Tucker Cawley, Lew Schneider, Steve Skrovan, Jeremy Stevens, co-executive producers Mike Royce, Aaron Shure and Tom Caltabiano and supervising producer Leslie Caveny.

EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND ends its final season as television's most watched and highest-rated comedy. Starring standup comedian Ray Romano in the title role, the series revolves around Ray Barone, a successful sportswriter living on Long Island with his wife, Debra, 13-year-old daughter, Ally, and 9-year-old twin sons, Geoffrey and Michael. That's the good news. The bad news? Ray's meddling parents, Frank and Marie, live directly across the street and embrace the motto "Su casa es mi casa," managing to infiltrate their son's home to an unparalleled extent. Frank's favorite expression "Holy Crap!" is shouted at regular intervals and Marie's cooking and cleaning "advice" is less than appreciated by Debra. Ray's brother, Robert, a police sergeant, has finally moved out of his parents' house and married Debra's best friend, Amy. Amy's uptight parents and anti-social brother make the family mix even more entertaining -- except for Ray and Debra, who just wish someone would knock.

EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated and HBO Independent Productions. Phil Rosenthal, Ray Romano, Stu Smiley, Rory Rosegarten, Lew Schneider, Tucker Cawley, Steve Skrovan and Jeremy Stevens are executive producers.
