THE NCIS TEAM ATTEMPTS TO CLEAR THE NAME OF A HEROIC NAVY MEDIC, WHO IS THE PRIME SUSPECT IN A MURDER, ON "NCIS," TUESDAY, MAY 3

"Hometown Hero" -- Gibbs and the team work to clear the name of a Navy medic killed in Iraq, who is the prime suspect in a murder in his hometown, on NCIS, Tuesday, May 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. James Whitmore, Jr. directed the episode from a script by George Schenck and Frank Cardea.

After a corpsman, whose actions in combat saved several lives, is killed in the line of duty, the body of a young woman who disappeared before he enlisted is found dead in a storage locker amid his possessions. Local police are convinced the corpsman is responsible for the woman's murder, but Gibbs thinks otherwise and is determined to clear the young man's name.
