When a former Navy SEAL, Jack Curtin (guest star Tim Abell), who was convicted of murdering his wife, escapes from prison, Gibbs and his team are called in to track him down. But as their investigation continues, they discover that rather than trying to flee, Curtin is looking to take revenge on the real killer. With the help of the JAG officers who tried the case, the NCIS agents look for the elusive clue which sent Curtin on his pursuit of justice.
