OCTAVIUS, ON THE RUN FOR HIS LIFE, IS CAPTURED AS A SLAVE AND SENT TO DIE IN A BRUTAL GLADIATOR SCHOOL, ON ABC'S "EMPIRE"

"Arkham" - Camane, the vestal virgin, risks her life by posting signs around Rome claiming that Octavius is Caesar's rightful heir. Under the protection of the gladiator, Tyrannus, Octavius is on the run because the powerful Cassius wants him dead. Captured by mercenaries, the two are put into a brutal gladiator's prison where they will face certain death if their real identities are discovered, on "Empire," TUESDAY, JULY 5 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Empire" stars Santiago Cabrera as Octavius, Vincent Regan as Marc Antony, Emily Blunt as Camane, James Frain as Brutus, Chris Egan as Agrippa and Jonathan Cake as Tyrannus.

Guest starring are Trudie Styler as Servilia, Graham McTavish as General Rapax, Amanda Root as Noella, Ian Bartholomew as Cimber, Alan David as Quintilius, Clive Riche as Herteus and Roger Ashton-Griffiths as Panza, with a special appearance by Dennis Haysbert as Magonius.

Co-starring are Terence Maynard as Atticus and Joe Hanley as Lagos.

"Arkham" was written by William Wheeler and directed by John Gray.

"Empire" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
