THE TEAM'S NEWEST MEMBER TACKLES A LEARNING CURVE AS SHE ATTEMPTS TO ASSIST IN LOCATING A MISSING YOUNG PROSTITUTE, ON "WITHOUT A TRACE," THURSDAY, OCT. 13

Roselyn Sanchez ("Rush Hour 2") Joins the Cast

"From the Ashes" -- The team's newest member, F.B.I. rookie Elena Delgado, formerly of the N.Y.P.D., encounters a learning curve as she attempts to help search for a missing young prostitute, on WITHOUT A TRACE, Thursday, Oct. 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series co-executive producer Timothy Busfield directed the episode written by Gwendolyn Parker.

Roselyn Sanchez ("Rush Hour II") joins the cast as Elena Delgado.

The team soon discovers that the missing 20-year-old Dina Kingston is a prostitute whose ransacked apartment contained the charred remains of her black book of johns. Further investigation uncovers that Dina, who had recently attempted to commit suicide, was suddenly desperate for a large sum of money, which caused her to be much less discerning about her clients as she feverishly solicited more business. The street savvy Elena, who had excelled in the N.Y.P.D.'s Vice unit, initially believes this case is better suited for the homicide department. However, the team's leads and methods make Elena realize that she's got a lot to learn about the Missing Person's Squad. Meanwhile, Martin is becoming impatient with his slow physical recovery, and Elena and Danny are mum about how they know one another.

Roselyn Sanchez was named Miss Puerto Rico Petite in 1993 and, in 1994, she won the international title of Miss America Petite. In 2002 she was ranked #50 in Stuff magazine's "102 Sexiest Women in the World." Her television credits include "Kojak," "The Drew Carey Show" and "Nash Bridges," on the Network. Her feature film credits include "Chasing Papi" and "Rush Hour 2."
