FAITH HILL RETURNS FOR HER SECOND NBC SPECIAL "FAITH HILL: FIREFLIES" ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23 (9-10 P.M. ET)

BURBANK, Calif. -- November 9. 2005 -- With her sales topping 30 million albums, Faith Hill returns to NBC for her second special on the network. Airing Wednesday, November 23 (9-10 p.m. ET), "Faith Hill: Fireflies" will combine her timeless #1 hits like "Breathe," "Mississippi Girl," and "Cry," amongst others, with new songs from her recent chart-topping CD, "Fireflies."

"Fireflies," Hill's first album release in nearly three years, her 6th, debuted at #1 on both the Country and Pop Album Charts upon its release. Not only was it the highest selling album debut of 2005, it also made history as Faith became the first female artist to ever simultaneously debut at #1 on both charts 3 consecutive times. The album's first single, "Mississippi Girl," an infectious autobiographical song, became Faith's 10th #1 and the fastest rising song of her career. The CD's second single release, "Like We Never Loved At All" is shooting up the charts and already stands in the Top 20.

The special combines concert footage, shot over Faith's two-night stand at Los Angeles' historic Pantages Theater with an intimate, in the round 'behind the songs' performance filmed in Nashville.

Faith Hill, a proud Mississippian from a tiny town called Star, has become a beloved global superstar by pouring herself into song, receiving her musical education as a child in church. Her countless accolades include four Grammy wins, three awards from the Country Music Association, twelve from the Academy of Country Music, as well as four People's Choice Award wins as Favorite Female Music Performer in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.

"Faith Hill: Fireflies" was executive produced by Faith Hill and Gary Borman. It was directed by acclaimed music video director Wayne Isham.
