As Signs opens, strange occurrences are taking place in the lives of the Hess family. Rev. What they discover next seems inexplicable: Patterns of perfectly carved crop circles left the night before. Graham discounts the media frenzy of towns television and radio broadcasts, as he attempts to learn the source of the mysterious designs.
