THE PROMISE OF A RING � Simon (David Gallagher) and Rose (Sarah Thompson) have a serious argument over Simon having taken incompletes at school to pay for Rose�s ring. Savannah accidentally swallows Kevin�s (George Stults) wedding ring, sending him into a panic about how to retrieve the ring before Lucy (Beverley Mitchell) finds out. Annie (Catherine Hicks) is furious over the fact that she never knew that Matt (Barry Watson, who does not appear in the episode) and Sarah (Sarah Danielle) eloped before their wedding. Eric (Stephen Collins) is extremely nervous that Annie will become even more upset when she finds out that he lost his wedding band years ago and replaced it with a copy. The episode was directed by Joel Feigenbaum and written by Brenda Hampton and Jeff Olsen and Chris Olsen (#219).
