KEIRA KNIGHTLEY AND PARMINDER NAGRA STAR ? Jess� (Parminder Nagra, �ER�) only desire is to become a soccer star like her idol, David Beckham � but her traditional Sikh family refuses to even consider it. With the help of her new friend Jules (Keira Knightley, �Pride and Prejudice�), Jess secretly joins a girls� team under the guidance of a male coach (Jonathan Rhys Meyers, �Mission Impossible III�). As the team starts to gain some attention, Jess' realizes her secret can't be kept forever. The film was directed by Gurinder Chadha and the screenplay was written by Gurinder Chadha and Paul Mayeda Berges.
