TNT�s Monday night slate of dynamic original series THE CLOSER and SAVED continues Monday, June 19, with THE CLOSER�s lead character, Brenda Leigh Johnson (Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Kyra Sedgwick) dealing with a visit from her mother in the midst of a difficult case at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). Three-time Emmy nominee Frances Sternhagen (Sex and the City, ER) co-stars. Meanwhile, on SAVED at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Wyatt Cole (Tom Everett Scott) has to deal with the reality that his ex-girlfriend is about to move in with her new boyfriend.

The second episode of THE CLOSER�s new season has Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson (Sedgwick) dealing with an unexpected visit from her fussy mother (Sternhagen), putting plans for Brenda�s boyfriend FBI Agent Fritz Howard (Jon Tenney) to move in to Brenda�s house on hold. Meanwhile, Brenda investigates the possible murder of a jury member in the trial of an Armenian mob boss. Risking a possible mistrial, she dives into the investigation, which becomes more complicated with each discovered clue.

THE CLOSER�s Screen Actors Guild Award�-nominated ensemble cast also features J.K. Simmons (Law & Order, Spider-Man) as Assistant Police Chief Will Pope; Corey Reynolds (The Terminal, Tony nominee for Hairspray) as Sgt. David Gabriel, Brenda�s right-hand man; Robert Gossett (Arlington Road, The Net) as Commander Taylor, head of the robbery homicide division and a frequent thorn in Brenda�s side; G.W. Bailey (M*A*S*H, St. Elsewhere, Police Academy) as quick-witted veteran Detective Lt.
