2006 Emmy Nominee Kyra Sedgwick Stars in THE CLOSER at 9 p.m. (ET/PT)

Tom Everett Scott (That Thing You Do, Boiler Room) Headlines SAVED at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)

TNTs hit dramas THE CLOSER and SAVED enter the home stretch with their penultimate episodes of the season Monday, August 28. On THE CLOSER at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), Brenda Leigh Johnson, played by 2006 Emmy nominee Kyra Sedgwick, looks into the murder of a 16-year-old boy who was prepared to testify that a man convicted of the murder of a Korean couple was not actually the murderer. Meanwhile on SAVED at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), impending legal action threatens to shut down Lifeshield and bring Wyatt Coles (Tom Everett Scott) career as a first-responder to an end.

THE CLOSERs premiere episode on Monday, June 12, scored ad-supported cables largest audience delivery ever for an original scripted series telecast, beating its own record set with the premiere episode of season one. Meanwhile, SAVED scored big in its premiere, delivering more than 5.1 million viewers.

SAVED Tango

Directed by John Coles, Written by Ann Hamilton

The paramedics at Lifeshield are increasingly on edge as Wyatt Cole (Scott) and his paramedic partner John Sack Hallon (Omari Hardwick Beauty Shop, Sucker Free City) prepare to testify at a deposition for a lawsuit that could end the careers of everyone involved. If nothing else, the lawsuit is certainly driving a wedge between Wyatt and Sack, leading one of them to consider employment elsewhere.
