IN A FIRST-EVER VACATION EPISODE, SUPERNANNY TAKES A FRAZZLED FAMILY FROM IOWA ON A HOLIDAY TO FLORIDA, MONDAY, DECEMBER 18

Fager Family Stacie and Joe Fager are the proud parents of a blended family in Iowa, but with six children, they both feel overwhelmed and exhausted. Theres Sarah (8) and Andrew (7), brother and sister from Joes first marriage; Chelsea (6), Stacies daughter from her first marriage; and Benjamin & Zachary (4-year old twins), plus Jacob (2), who are Stacie and Joes children together. Joe is a truck driver and full-time student, and hes gone most of the week. Stacie, a stay-at-home mom, has a hard time controlling the children, so she hardly ever leaves home with the kids in tow, and family vacations are a rarity. The older kids, Sarah and Andrew, havent seen or spoken to their birth mother in a year, and with Joes busy schedule, they feel as if they dont have anyone to talk to about those feelings. The family desperately needs a break and something to lift their spirits. Its Supernanny to the rescue when Jo Frost surprises the Fagers with a beachside holiday at a resort in Florida, making this the series first-ever vacation episode, on Supernanny, MONDAY, DECEMBER 18 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

At home and on vacation, Jo teaches the family the techniques they need to travel as a large group. For starters, Jo demonstrates how to get the kids organized and out the door in ten minutes an improvement over the hour it previously took! Though the parents fret about the kids misbehaving on the flight, Jo teaches them how to use snacks, games and other distractions to keep the children settled. And when one of the twins wanders off on the beach, Stacie puts Supernannys techniques to the test. Perhaps best of all, Jo gets Dad to spend quality time with Sarah and Andrew, which allows Joe to prove that he is there for them to lean on. The lessons learned on vacation are ones the Fagers can take home with them and continue to use for years to come.

Nick Powell is the creator and executive producer of both the American and British versions of the show. Craig Armstrong and Nick Emmerson are executive producers of the American version. Supernanny is produced by Ricochet, Ltd.

Supernanny is broadcast with Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.
