THE KNIGHTS DECIDE TO KIDNAP LOUIS TO GET RENT MONEY FOR A PRICEY APARTMENT NEXT TO RAY ROMANO'S AS PART OF THEIR NEW HEIST SCHEME, ONLY TO FIND LOUIS' WEALTHY FATHER UNWILLING TO PAY THE RANSOM, ON ABC'S "THE KNIGHTS OF PROSPERITY"

"Operation: Rent Money" � After "inconspicuously" following Ray Romano home from his off-Broadway play, the Knights discover he has a safe with a $2.9 million diamond inside. In order to rent the expensive empty apartment next to Romano's and be close to their target, they devise a plan to get the rent money -- kidnap Louis and hope his wealthy father will pay the ransom money to save him. When Louis' father doesn't immediately come to the rescue, the gang has to decide whether to jettison Louis as a member, and the timid intern resolves to take a stand against his father, on "The Knights of Prosperity," WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 8 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"The Knights of Prosperity" stars Donal Logue as Eugene Gurkin, Sof�a Vergara as Esperanza Villalobos, Lenny Venito as Francis "Squatch" Squacieri, Maz Jobrani as Gourishankar "Gary" Subramaniam, Kevin Michael Richardson as Rockefeller Butts and Josh Grisetti as Louis Plunk.

Guest-starring are Ray Romano as himself, James Rebhorn as Harrison Plunk, Natasha Lyonne as female co-star and Jonathan Lam as Louis Plunk's roommate.

"Operation: Rent Money" is written by Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan, and directed by Rodman Flender.

"The Knights of Prosperity" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning.
