NICK IS CERTAIN AUBREY IS KEEPING A SECRET FROM HIM, RAY WANTS TO ADOPT SAM, AND JANET WANTS TO BE INTIMATE WITH EDDIE, ON ABC'S "OCTOBER ROAD"

"Spelling It Out" -- Nick becomes suspicious that Aubrey is hiding something from him after she's overheard making a mysterious phone call; Ray tells Hannah he wants to adopt Sam, which makes her uneasy; Janet is upset that she and Eddie have not yet been intimate; and Knightsridge town is rooting for a shoo-in for the annual regional spelling bee -- except his jealous brother is hoping he'll lose -- on "October Road, MONDAY, JANUARY 14 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

The series stars Bryan Greenberg as Nick Garrett, Laura Prepon as Hannah Daniels, Geoff Stults as Eddie Latekka, Brad William Henke as Owen Rowan, Jay Paulson as "Physical Phil," Tom Berenger as "The Commander," Evan Jones as Ikey, Slade Pearce as Sam, Warren Christie as Ray Cataldo, Odette Yustman as Aubrey, Rebecca Field as Janet and Lindy Booth as "Pizza Girl."

Guest starring is Jonathan Murphy as Ronnie, Penny Johnson Jerald as Dean Etwood, Sean Gunn as Rooster and Elisabeth Bogush as Alison Rowan. Other guest cast TBD.

"Spelling It Out" is written by Becky Hartman Edwards and Scott Rosenberg and directed by John Kretchmer.

"October Road" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to the airdate.
