MR. MONK & THE OTHER DETECTIVE

WHEN FELLOW DETECTIVE MARTY EELS (GUEST STAR: JASON ALEXANDER) SHOWS UP AT A CRIME SCENE KNOWING ALL THE ANSWERS, HAS MONK (TONY SHALOUB) MET HIS MATCH, OR IS HE CHEATING? A jewelry shop owner, Howard Gumbal (Guest Star: Alan Wilder) robs his own store, and delivers the loot to two thugs who have taken his dog hostage. When a security guard shows up, one of the thugs kills him. With Gumbal now a murder witness, the shooter kills Gumbal as well. Monk (Tony Shaloub) is called in to investigate, but a disheveled, second-rate detective named Marty Eels (Guest Star: Jason Alexander) shows up on the scene, and his detective skills turn out to be better than Monk�s skills. Has Monk finally met his match, or is Eels cheating? Jason Alexander, Dana Ivey and Alan Wilder guest star. Traylor Howard, Ted Levine, Jason Gray-Stanford, Emmy Clarke and Stanley Kamel also star.
