NEW GAMES FOR EPISODE THREE OF "I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAME SHOW,"
AIRING TUESDAY, JULY 8 ON ABC
Olga Medvedev Eliminated on Last Night's Episode
The craziness continues for Americans competing in Japan when "Episode 103" of "I Survived a Japanese Game Show" airs TUESDAY, JULY 8 (9:01-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Olga Medvedev (Medford, MA) was eliminated on last night's episode.
Here are the games in the new hour:
PEDAL FAST OR BIG SPLASH
Two teammates riding tricycles take turns trying to stay on a moving conveyor belt. The other teammates ride stationary bicycles and control the speed of the conveyor belt with their own pedaling -- the faster they pedal, the slower the conveyor goes. The team with the most time in the marked area wins, and a team plays until both tricycle riders drop into a giant ice-filled pool of water.
YOU LOOK FUNNY STUCK ON A WALL!
Two contestants wearing Velcro suits jump on a trampoline to throw themselves at various body pattern outlines and try to get the best match within each outline. The first contestant to win three rounds wins the game.
"I Survived A Japanese Game Show" is a hilarious, behind-the-scenes and ground-breaking show giving 10 Americans many of whom have never traveled outside the United States a real, life-changing adventure by whisking them away to Tokyo to compete in the ultimate Japanese game show. Each week a player will be eliminated and the final winner will take home $250,000.
Guiding the players through their stay in Japan are host/tour guide Tony Sano ("Spring Break in Japan," "Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight"), an American actor fluent in Japanese; a house mother where the players live and resident pot-stirrer, Mamasan; and the witty game show host Rome Kanda ("Pink Panther," "Saturday Night Live"), who leads the American contestants through all of the zany games.
The executive producers are Arthur Smith and Kent Weed (A. Smith & Co., "Kitchen Nightmares," "Hell's Kitchen"), David Sidebotham, Karsten Bartholin and Tim Crescenti, from a concept by Babyfoot APS Denmark.
"I Survived a Japanese Game Show" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. This program carries a TV-PG,L parental guideline.
