MANDY MOORE STARS - Halley Martin (Moore, "A Walk to Remember") is a young high school student who is disillusioned with love after examining the many dysfunctional relationships in her life. Her father (Peter Gallagher, "The O.C.") is marrying a woman she can't stand, her mother (Allison Janney, "The West Wing) is alone and her sister (Mary Catherine Garrison, "Third Watch") is obsessed with her wedding plans. Even her friends at school are shallow and only care about cheerleading and football. When a tragic accident leads her to meeting Macon (Trent Ford, "The West Wing"), Halley realizes that true love can occur under unusual circumstances. Alexandra Holden and Dylan Baker also star. The film was directed by Clare Kilner and the screenplay was written by Neena Beber.
