Anson Williams ("Happy Days") Returns as Director

Burbank, CA (December 31, 2008) � Amy and Ben realize that their marriage is not legal on "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," Monday, January 12 (8:00 � 9:00 PM ET/PT).

In "Baked Nevada," George and Leo bust in on Amy and Ben's wedding reception and break the news that their marriage is not legal since they used fake ID's. When George returns home, he tells Amy not to tell her mother. But, when Anne feels isolated, she and George end up sleeping together, which doesn't change the fact that she still wants a divorce. Meanwhile, Tom wants to marry his new girlfriend, Tammy, Grace is in love with Ricky, but he's still seeing Adrian on the side, and Jack takes responsibility for making the fake ID's. Anne is hurt when she finds out about the marriage and tries to impress on Amy and Ben the great responsibility that lies ahead of them.

The series cast includes Shailene Woodley, Molly Ringwald, Mark Derwin, India Eisley, Ken Baumann, Daren Kagasoff, Francia Raisa, Megan Park, Greg Finley and Jorge�Luis Pallo. John Schneider, Josie Bissett, Ernie Hudson and Steve Schirripa also guest star. Created and executive-produced by Brenda Hampton ("7th Heaven"), the series is produced by Prodco, Inc. in association with Brendavision.

The first eleven episodes of the summer 2008 run of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" were released on DVD on December 30, 2008 by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.
