Duran Duran's John Taylor Guest Stars as Tommy Wylder

"The Rock Star" - When Sam starts dating rock superstar Tommy Wylder (Duran Duran's John Taylor) - an idol from a youth that she has no recollection of -- she becomes so embarrassed by Andrea and Dena's fan-like reactions that she unintentionally begins to alienate them. Meanwhile, with Sam dating Tommy, Regina fondly recalls memories of Howard's early days as a musician, on "Samantha Who?," MONDAY, JANUARY 19 (9:30-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Samantha Who?" stars Christina Applegate as Samantha, Jennifer Esposito as Andrea, Kevin Dunn as Howard, Melissa McCarthy as Dena, Tim Russ as Frank, with Barry Watson as Todd and Jean Smart as Regina.

Guest starring are John Taylor as Tommy Wylder, Greg Cipes as street musician, Terryn Westbrook as female fan no. 1, Kathryn J. Taylor as female fan no. 2, Susie Geiser as woman, David Douglas as barista, Amanda Collier as 13-year-old Sam and Miranda May as 13-year-old Dena.

"The Rock Star" was written by Marco Pennette and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.

"Samantha Who?" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. This program carries a TV-PG parental guideline.

This episode of "Samantha Who?" will be available on ABC.com the day after airing on the network for users to watch online.
