"THE DREW CAREY SHOW" (6:00-6:30 p.m. ET)

"The Salon" (CONTENT RATING TBD)

political commentator Rush Limbaugh GUEST STARS When Mrs. Louder (recurring guest star Nan Martin) refuses to hire Kate (Christa Miller) as a women's clothing buyer because Kate lacks sophistication, Drew (Drew Carey) gets an idea. To make Mrs. Louder think that Kate is smart, Drew hosts an evening of conversation about politics, literature and other highbrow topics. Lewis (Ryan Stiles) also invites his boss but fails to impress him. Kate expresses her opinion that the Internet should not be censored. Unfortunately, conservative Mrs. Louder disagrees, and an argument leads to Kate's termination. After Kate proves to be a terrible employee to both Oswald's (Diedrich Bader) delivery service and Lewis' drug manufacturer, Drew finds a way to get Kate rehired. He invites political commentator Rush Limbaugh (guest stars as himself) to the office to meet with Kate and Mrs. Louder. Mrs. Louder is surprised to find out from her hero that not all conservatives are against free expression on the Internet. Limbaugh convinces Mrs. Louder to rehire Kate. Gerry Cohen directed the episode written by Terry Mulroy & Bob Nickman (#466266).
