NEW GAMES FOR THIRD EPISODE OF "I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAME SHOW," AIRING WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, ON ABC

** Yari Agramonte (Bronx, NY) Eliminated **

"Episode 203" -- The craziness continues for Americans competing in Japan when the third episode of "I Survived a Japanese Game Show" airs WEDNESDAY, JULY 1 (9:02-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Yari Agramonte (Bronx, NY) was eliminated on last night's show.

"I Survived a Japanese Game Show" is a hilarious, behind-the-scenes and ground-breaking show giving 12 Americans a real, life-changing adventure by whisking them away to Tokyo to compete in the ultimate Japanese game show. Each week a player will be eliminated and the final winner will take home $250,000. Rome Kanda ("Pink Panther," "Saturday Night Live") is the game show host leading the contestants through all of the zany challenges; Mama-San is the house mother and resident pot stirrer; and Judge Bob is the rarely dynamic but always entertaining referee of the games.

Here are the games in "Episode 203":

GOPHER MAKE YOU CRAZY!

Teammates pop their heads out of various holes in a box and try to blow ping pong balls into ball bins. Meanwhile, a member of the opposing team tries to impede them by hitting them on the head with a foam hammer, while the other members of that team block shots with foam noodles. Team with the highest score after two minutes wins.

NEAR SIGHTED MICE AND THE BIG CHEESE

One contestant loads open milk cartons onto an elevated conveyor belt, while three teammates try to catch them at the other end and transfer as much milk as possible into a receptacle in two minutes. The four contestants transporting milk wear goggles that greatly impair their vision, while a fifth teammate without goggles provides direction. That teammate is dressed as a giant piece of Swiss cheese, while everyone else is dressed as a mouse.

BIG PENGUIN BELLY SCRAMBLE

Contestants dressed as giant penguins have to belly-flop onto balloons and try to pop as many as possible in two minutes. Once the egg is popped, a gooey yolk is released.

The executive producers are Arthur Smith and Kent Weed for A. Smith & Co. ("Kitchen Nightmares," "Hell's Kitchen"), and David Sidebotham, Karsten Bartholin and Tim Crescenti for Babyfoot APS Denmark. "I Survived a Japanese Game Show" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. This program carries a TV-PG,L parental guideline.
