VERIDIAN TRIES TO MAKE LINDA A SCAPEGOAT WHEN THE COMPANY IS SUED, ON ABC'S "BETTER OFF TED"

"Trust and Consequences" � The company tries to make Linda the scapegoat in a lawsuit for a perfume Veridian created that causes women to be attacked by hornets, even though Linda insists she sent an email warning Ted and Veronica. Linda thinks Ted has betrayed her, while Ted insists he never got the email. Meanwhile, the depositions for the case leave Phil and Lem's friendship in tatters when Phil is forced to admit that he lied about attending Lem's alma mater, M.I.T., on "Better Off Ted," TUESDAY, JULY 14 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Better Off Ted" stars Jay Harrington as Ted, Portia de Rossi as Veronica, Andrea Anders as Linda, Jonathan Slavin as Phil, Malcolm Barrett as Lem and Isabella Acres as Rose.

Guest starring are Maz Jobrani as Dr. Bhamba, Jordan Murphy as the male lawyer and Janet Verney as the lawyer.

"Trust and Consequences" was written by Mike Teverbaugh and directed by Lee Shallat-Chemel.

"Better Off Ted" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary Closed Captioning. This program carries a TV-PG,D,S parental guideline.

This episode of "Better Off Ted" will be available on abc.com the day after airing on the network for users to watch online.
