Shirley Jones Guest Stars, Reuniting on the Small Screen with David Cassidy

Burbank, CA (September 1, 2009) � In "50 Ways to Heave Your Mother," Shirley Jones guest stars as David and Patrick's mother, Shirley, visiting from Pittsburgh. Ruby and Shirley are off to a rocky start when Shirley insists Ruby call her Mrs. Gallagher instead of Grandma. Ruby tries wholeheartedly to win her Grandma's affections; nonetheless Shirley proceeds to make her feel as if she doesn't belong in the family. Chaos and hilarity ensue as a family deals with a spoiled, highly-dramatic grandma, in "50 Ways to Heave Your Mother," airing Tuesday, September 15st at 8:30PM ET/PT-9:00PM ET/PT on ABC Family.

"Ruby & The Rockits" is an ABC Studios half-hour multi-cam comedy executive-produced by Shaun Cassidy and Marsh McCall. "Fifty Ways to Heave Your Mother" was written by Marsh McCall and directed by Fred Savage. Alexa Vega ("Spy Kids"), Patrick Cassidy ("Smallville"), Katie Amanda Keane ("Eli Stone"), Austin Butler ("Zoey 101"), Kurt Doss ("Role Models") and David Cassidy ("The Partridge Family") star.

Alexa Vega sings the series' opening title song, "You Are Where I Live," which was written by Shaun Cassidy.
