"The Impertence of Communicationizing" � When a typo in a memo about inappropriate behavior at Veridian Dynamics orders employees to now engage in offensive language, Ted tries to convince the company to correct the error, but not before the insults start flying. Meanwhile, Veronica is afraid, and guilty� If the company can make such a stupid mistake, can it be that her own promotion is the result of a typo on a memo meant for W. Palmer and not V. Palmer?, on "Better Off Ted," TUESDAY, JANUARY 12 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Better Off Ted" stars Jay Harrington as Ted, Portia de Rossi as Veronica, Andrea Anders as Linda, Jonathan Slavin as Phil, Malcolm Barrett as Lem and Isabella Acres as Rose.

Guest starring are Chris Parnell as Walter Palmer, Patricia Belcher as Janet, Vivian Bang as Debbie, Jake Dogias as Alvin and Richard Robichaux as Mark.

"The Impertence of Communicationizing" was written by Mike Teverbaugh and directed by Michael Fresco.

"Better Off Ted" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary Closed Captioning. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.
