TED HELPS HIS FAST TALKING BROTHER GET A JOB, ON ABC'S "BETTER OFF TED"

"Mess of a Salesman" � Ted helps his fast talking brother, Billy (guest star Eddie McClintock), get a job selling lab equipment for one of Veridian's biggest suppliers, but no good deed goes unpunished, as Billy proceeds to sell Veridian more equipment than they could ever use and corrupts Phil and Lem in the process. Meanwhile, a charity for girls that Veridian supports gives Veronica an award, but when she and Linda learn that the company actually gives very little of the money it raises to the charity, they set out to make things right, on "Better Off Ted," TUESDAY, JANUARY 26 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Better Off Ted" stars Jay Harrington as Ted, Portia de Rossi as Veronica, Andrea Anders as Linda, Jonathan Slavin as Phil, Malcolm Barrett as Lem and Isabella Acres as Rose.

Guest starring are Eddie McClintock as Billy, Rick Hoffman as Mr. Page, Bill Stevenson as Lonnie, Stefan Marks as Brett and Shirley Jordan as Mrs. Boudreaux.

"Mess of a Salesman" was written by Tim Doyle and directed by Marc Buckland.

"Better Off Ted" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary Closed Captioning. This program carries a TV-PG,D,V parental guideline.
