Live Coverage to Include Republican Response

ABC News will broadcast President Barack Obama's State of the Union Address live on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27. Coverage will begin at 9:00 p.m., ET and will also include the Republican response.

Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos will anchor ABC's coverage from Washington, DC. They will be joined by Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper, Senior Congressional Correspondent Jon Karl and Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz.

Ms. Sawyer will also anchor "World News" from Washington on Wednesday. On Thursday "Good Morning America" will feature morning-after reaction to the President's speech, with George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts anchoring in New York.

Prior to the State of the Union, Terry Moran will moderate a preview of the President's speech in a half-hour "Nightline Twittercast" at 8:30 p.m., ET, available on ABCNews.com/Nightline and ABC News NOW. Following the speech, Mr. Moran will anchor a special edition of "Nightline" from Washington with additional State of the Union analysis, live at 11:35 p.m., ET.

ABC News Radio will provide extensive coverage of the State of the Union Address and the Republican response starting at 9:00 p.m., ET anchored by ABC News correspondent Aaron Katersky, with ABC News White House Correspondent Ann Compton and ABC News Correspondent Vic Ratner on Capitol Hill. Prior to the President's address, ABC News Radio will provide a one-hour special at 8:06 p.m., ET that examines issues President Obama is expected to discuss.?

ABCNews.com will live stream the coverage and will provide extensive reporting from ABC's team of political correspondents in Washington, DC. ABCNews.com will partner again with Facebook Connect to provide online users a place to comment and discuss the State of the Union online while watching it live.

Rick Klein, ABC News' Senior Political Reporter and author of "The Note," along with Yunji de Nies, ABC News White House Correspondent, will anchor ABC News NOW's live coverage of the State of the Union at 9:00 p.m., ET.

ABC NewsOne, the networks' affiliate news service, will provide live reports from Washington DC with correspondents Viviana Hurtado, John Hendren and T.J. Winick.
