REBECCA REYES, THE MOTHER AT THE CENTER OF A COURT'S RULING ON RELIGION AND HER FAMILY, SPEAKS EXCLUSIVELY WITH CHRIS CUOMO ON ABC NEWS' "20/20," FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26

Nick Watt Reports on a Gruesome New Phenomenon in Uganda, Child Sacrifice

A Report on the Winter Olympic Games

On Friday, February 26, ABC News' "20/20" brings the story of Joseph Reyes, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan and father of three-year-old Ela. Reyes made headlines when he recently took his daughter to a Chicago church. In what some are calling an extraordinary court order, a family court judge imposed a 30-day restraining order forbidding Joseph from exposing his daughter to any other religion than the Jewish religion during his visitation with Ela. His estranged wife sought the order after Joseph who is Catholic but converted to Judaism during his marriage to Ela's mother had their daughter baptized in the Catholic Church without the mother's knowledge. Despite the judge's order, he then took his daughter back to church with a camera crew in tow. On Friday, "20/20" co-anchor Chris Cuomo speaks exclusively with Joseph's estranged wife, Rebecca, and explores how far the courts can go in terms of religion, families and the raising of a child.

Then: After years of savage wars and brutal dictators, Uganda is thriving. But in the capital, Kampala, where commerce and capitalism now reign, some of Uganda's new rich are turning to a twisted strand of ancient mysticism in pursuit of wealth. From this cocktail of the ancient and the modern, from this inequality of wealth and poverty, a gruesome new phenomenon is emerging -- child sacrifice. Dozens of children have been sacrificed in the past two years. Hundreds more are missing. ABC News correspondent Nick Watt takes an arduous journey to Uganda to meet a woman whose son was beheaded, only to learn that her husband, the boy's father, had his own son sacrificed for money. Watt also goes undercover to visit a witch doctor suspected of child sacrifice.

And: ABC News correspondent David Muir reports on this year's winter Olympic Games. With the American teams currently ranking #1 with an impressive 28 medals during these 2010 Olympics including seven gold -- Muir explores the reasons behind the impressive performances.

These reports air on "20/20," FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Elizabeth Vargas and Chris Cuomo are the co-anchors of ABC News' "20/20." David Sloan is the executive producer.
