VIOLET IS BACK HOME AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT TO EXPECT, ESPECIALLY ADDISON, ON ABC'S "PRIVATE PRACTICE"

"Second Choices" - After her open-ended escape to Costa Rica, Violet has finally returned home and to the practice. Everyone treads a little lightly around her, especially Pete and Addison who have mixed feelings about Violet's desire to reconnect with Lucas. Meanwhile Amelia butts into Sam's personal life, pointing out that he can mend hearts in the OR but can't seem to do that for himself; and Sheldon encourages Charlotte to reconcile with Cooper, while Cooper deals with a young patient who eats everything in sight, on "Private Practice," THURSDAY, APRIL 22 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Private Practice" stars Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, Tim Daly as Dr. Pete Wilder, Audra McDonald as Dr. Naomi Bennett, Paul Adelstein as Dr. Cooper Freedman, KaDee Strickland as Dr. Charlotte King, Chris Lowell as William Dell Parker, with Taye Diggs as Dr. Sam Bennett and Amy Brenneman as Dr. Violet Turner.

Guest cast includes Caterina Scorsone as Amelia, Brian Benben as Sheldon, Bobby Coleman as Oliver, Perrey Reeves as Kelly, Ken Wilder as Scott, Aaron Ashmore as Carl, Camille Chen as Lucia.

"Second Choices" was written by Patti Carr and Lara Olsen, and directed by Jeff Bleckner.

"Private Practice" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.
