COMEDY CENTRAL(R) Gets Down and Dirty With the World Television Premiere, One-Hour Stand-Up Special 'Dov Davidoff: Filthy Operation' Debuting Saturday, May 1 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT

NEW YORK, April 12 -- Dov Davidoff pulls the rug out from under U.S. politicians, workers and sexually frustrated citizens in the World Television Premiere of "Dov Davidoff: Filthy Operation," a one-hour stand-up special, premiering on COMEDY CENTRAL on Saturday, May 1 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

An encore presentation of "Dov Davidoff: Filthy Operation" is scheduled to air on Thursday, May 6 at midnight.

Davidoff's urban flavor, Jersey accent and ADD comedic style make for a "falling-off your seat and rolling on the floor" stand-up experience. His straight-up attitude brings out the funny in such issues as prejudice in politics and school lunches, gay rights, the relationship between transvestites and transformers and why men don't stop for directions. He also reveals pieces of himself including his dysfunctional relationships, his experience with a "quality tranny" and his problem with lambskin condoms that smell like gyros.

Davidoff has been seen on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "Last Call with Carson Daly." He has starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in the film "Invincible" and co-starred with Jeff Goldblum in the NBC drama, "Raines." Davidoff is a regular fixture on COMEDY CENTRAL, starring in his own half-hour comedy special and appearing on "Chappelle's Show" and "Tough Crowd." He is a favorite at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal as well as HBO's Aspen Comedy Festival.
