THE MOTHER OF A FAMILY OF SMALL-TOWN CRIMINALS TRIES TO PUT HER KIDS ON THE STRAIGHT AND NARROW, ON THE PRMIERE OF ABC'S "SCOUNDRELS"

"And Jill Came Tumbling After" - A family of small-town criminals is shaken when their father is sentenced to a surprisingly long prison term, leaving mom to take care of the criminally enterprising brood. In an effort to keep her kids out of trouble, she decides it's time for the family to go straight, despite their best efforts to maintain the status quo, on the premiere of "Scoundrels," SUNDAY, JUNE 20 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Virginia Madsen, Independent Spirit Award winner as well as an Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee ("Sideways," "The Astronaut Farmer") stars as Cheryl West, the mother who must take charge and try to keep her kids on the straight and narrow. "Scoundrels" also stars David James Elliott as Wolfgang "Wolf" West, Patrick Flueger as Logan West/Calvin "Cal" West, Leven Rambin as Heather West, Vanessa Marano as Hope West and Carlos Bernard as Sergeant Mack.

Guest Cast: John Lawlor as Grandpa West, Jessalyn Wanlim as Patty Hong, Greg Serano as Cruz, Scott Ryan as Tad, Alex Knight as Detective Potts, Jessica Collins as Valerie Bottoms, Michael Bowen as Charlie, Hank Rogerson as Cousin JJ, Jesus Mayorga as Billy, Mark Sivertsen as Rene, Andy Brooks as Yan, Eleanor Bravo as Granny Hong, Dave Colon as Mr. Howard and Heather Nicole Gonzales as 9-year-old-Hope.

"And Jill Came Tumbling After" was written by Lyn Greene & Richard Levine and directed by Julie Anne Robinson.

"Scoundrels" is based on a New Zealand series entitled "Outrageous Fortune." Lyn Greene & Richard Levine ("Nip/Tuck") and Francie Calfo serve as executive producers. John Barnett, whose company, South Pacific Pictures, produces the New Zealand series, will also be an executive producer. Co-executive producers will include Michael Larkin, Michael Goldstein, Bruce Cervi and John Lansing.

"Scoundrels" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-14,L,S parental guideline.
