FRANKIE AND MIKE SET OUT TO CURE BRICK OF HIS IRRATIONAL
FEAR OF CROSSING OVER BRIDGES, ON ABC'S "THE MIDDLE"
"The Bridge" - Frankie and Mike attempt to cure Brick of his irrational fear of crossing over bridges. Meanwhile, Axl is pitted against nemesis Sean Donahue when a lifeguard position opens up at the local public pool, and Frankie is ready to pull her hair out when she tries to help an indecisive and emotional Sue pick out a two-piece bathing suit to wear on the pool's opening day, on "The Middle," WEDNESDAY, MAY 18 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"The Middle" stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue, Atticus Shaffer as Brick and Chris Kattan as Bob.
Guest starring are Jen Ray as Nancy Donahue, Beau Wirick as Sean Donahue, Blaine Saunders as Carly, Michael Dunn as Dave, Nakia Burrise as saleswoman, Dawn Joyal as mom, Steffani Brass as daughter, Hayley Holmes as girl and Aedin Mincks as boy.
"The Bridge" was written by Roy Brown and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.
"The Middle" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
