Burbank, CA (July 5, 2011) - Mel needs Joe's expertise with the Japanese language to help with a business deal on an all-new episode of "Melissa & Joey," premiering Wednesday, July 13 (8:00 - 8:30 PM ET/PT).
In "Lost in Translation," Mel has an important deal with a Japanese businessman and asks Joe to teach her Japanese. When the businessman's son arrives in his place and speaks no English, Joe has to translate between the two. When the Japanese businessman develops a romantic interest in Mel, Joe sabotages the translation. Meanwhile, Lennox is forced to work with her ex-best friend on a school project, and Ryder tries to mediate.
"Melissa & Joey" is a half-hour multi-cam comedy executive-produced by Bob Young & David Kendall, Paula Hart, Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence. "Lost in Translation" was written by Seth Kurland and directed by Steve Zuckerman. Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler and Nick Robinson star.
