CASEY ANTHONY: JUDGMENT DAY

"48 Hours Mystery" Primetime Special Broadcasts Tonight with Live Online Discussions on Facebook and Twitter

Today, after 91 witnesses, six weeks of testimony, and just over ten hours of deliberation, the jury in the Casey Anthony trial delivered their verdict: Casey Anthony was found not guilty of the murder of her daughter Caylee. Having covered the case extensively since its earliest days, including two original hours of programming in 2009 and in April of this year, 48 Hours Mystery will tonight air a primetime special that will go inside one of the most dramatic murder trials in recent memory (10/9c).

With principal correspondent Troy Roberts reporting from Orlando, the comprehensive report will also include:

 Commentary from Linda Kenney Baden, once a member of Anthony's defense team and a HLN contributor;

 Interview with defense trial consultant Richard Gabriel;

 Perspective from John Jay College of Criminal Justice's Dr. Louis Schlesinger;

 And an interview with Matthew Bartlett, whose hand gesture toward prosecutor John Ashton landed him in the Orange County jail.

This one-hour special will broadcast at 10/9c on the CBS Television Network. 48 Hours Mystery invites viewers to debate this case and today's controversial verdict online by participating in a live discussion from 10:00 - 11:00 PM ET on Facebook with field producer Jon Leach, and on Twitter with Crimesider executive editor Kevin Hayes.

This broadcast is produced by Josh Gelman, Jon Leach, Alec Sirken, Gail Zimmerman, Judy Rybak, Susan Mallie, and in Orlando, Tamara Weitzman, Marc Goldbaum, and Kristin Whiting. Paul Ryan is the senior broadcast producer and Al Briganti is the executive editor. Susan Zirinsky is the executive producer.
