SERIES PREMIERE - The young, wild staff of The Catalina Hotel in Miami's South Beach are a fun-loving group that work hard during the day, while at night they party even harder than their guests. Pool bartenders Nancy and Kris used to date and still have to work together - which causes jealousy when Kris flirts with hotel guests visiting over spring break. New employee David does his best to fit in with his fellow co-workers and succeeds with one in particular a little too well, while Kung Fu restaurant general manager Morgan is all business as she tries to keep things flowing without losing her temper (101).

DESCRIPTION:
(from The CW's press release, April 2012) The CW Network today announced the premiere dates for two new original reality series for summer 2012: THE CATALINA, which follows the employees and guests at a rocking Miami hotel, will premiere Tuesday, May 29 (8:00-9:00pm ET); and Breaking Pointe, an inside look at the competitive world of ballet will premiere Thursday, May 31 (8:00-9:00pm ET). With a nightlife as hot as the sun-soaked beaches during the day, THE CATALINA centers on the young, wild staff of The Catalina hotel in Miami's South Beach. The fun-loving group forms their own dysfunctional family unit, and they work hard during the day, while at night they party even harder than their guests. THE CATALINA is from Bischoff Hervey Entertainment. Eric Bischoff ("iMPACT Wrestling," "Confessions of a Teen Idol") and Jason Hervey ("iMPACT Wrestling," "Confessions of a Teen Idol") are executive producers. |
