THE MURDER OF AN AUSTIN, TEXAS MUSIC SCENE REGULAR WAS UNSOLVED FOR TWO DECADES UNTIL A PHONE CALL CHANGED EVERYTHING. WHO KILLED NATALIE ANTONETTI?

"REDEMPTION SONG" SUNDAY, JUNE 9 (10:00 PM, ET/PT)

Natalie Antonetti was brutally beaten while sleeping on Oct. 13, 1985. She lingered in a coma for two weeks before dying, leaving behind a then-16-year-old son. Her murder rocked the Austin, Texas music scene, of which she'd been a regular member. There were few leads, and the investigation remained cold for more than 20 years. Then, in 2007, police got a call leading them to Dennis Davis, who knew Antonetti well. Correspondent Tracy Smith retraces Antonetti's murder and the subsequent investigation in this update of an October 2011 report that includes an interview with Davis from prison, where he's serving 36 years for the murder. Smith also talks with Antonetti's son, Johnny Goudie, who is now a musician.
