"Episode 101" - On the series premiere of "The Glass House," 14 players begin their quest for a quarter of a million dollar prize as they live and compete in a totally wired, state-of-the-art house. Immediately, viewers have control over decisions affecting the game right from the start. In the first episode, two teams of seven, as decided upon by viewers, will challenge each other in a game of "Twist & Shout" where each team must solve a massive wall puzzle based on information about their fellow contestants. The team with the fastest time wins and the losing team sends two players into limbo where they make one final plea online to America in the hopes of being voted back into the house. "The Glass House" premieres MONDAY, JUNE 18 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET) on The ABC Television Network.

"The Glass House" takes interactive storytelling to the next level, with fans at ABC.com/TheGlassHouse directing the players' actions in the house both online and on-air. Fans can go to the site now to watch video introductions from the players and start voting on everything from who their favorite players are to how the game will get started, including which bed they may have to share, how teams are divided and what type of housewarming party they should have. From Tuesday, June 12 to Thursday, June 14, there will be hour-long live streams from inside the house from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. ET. Through live polling, viewers will be able to influence what the players are doing at that moment in the game - from what they wear and eat to who they interact with.

After the Monday premiere and every week following, viewers are able to view an additional 4-hour live stream from inside the house from 11:00 p.m.-3:00 a.m., ET and then again during the one-hour blocks on Tuesdays - Thursdays. In addition to the live polling, daily polls will pose larger strategic questions that impact what the players may do during the next on-air episode and a Limbo Vote will determine which player can be saved from elimination. In addition, viewers will have the opportunity to give all of the player's feedback on their game from outside the house. How the players use that information is up to them, but in the end this is about who plays the best social game, so the most important alliances players can have are with their fans.

Contestant Melissa, a freelance journalist (age 31) from Chicago, IL, will no longer participate and has been replaced by Holly, retail sales (age 21) from Detroit, MI.

"The Glass House" is executive-produced by Kenny Rosen ("Hell's Kitchen"). It is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
