MEL TRIES TO IMPRESS HER DATE WITH A "HOME COOKED MEAL" ON A BRAND NEW EPISODE OF "MELISSA AND JOEY," AIRING ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 18 AT 8:00PM ET/PT ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (July 10, 2012) - Mel's date is awed by her cooking skills, not realizing that Joe is who really does the cooking, on an all new episode of "Melissa and Joey," premiering on July 18 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on ABC Family.

In the episode, "Eat Pray Date," Mel lets her date Travis believe she is an amazing chef, without mentioning that it was Joe who really made their delicious meal. However, when Travis asks to watch her in the kitchen, Mel is forced to turn to Joe to help her out. Meanwhile, Lennox is shocked to realize her friend has a crush on Ryder, but Ryder is surprisingly interested, horrifying Lennox even more.

The series cast includes Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler, and Nick Robinson. Guest stars include Travis Schuldt and Hayley Erin.
