"Hillbilly Wipeout" -- In this week's Hillbilly episode, the Wipeout course welcomes 24 quirky contestants vying to become $50,000 richer, as everyone's footing is challenged during multiple unsuccessful attempts on the "Bar Crawl" stunt. Players including a down home Hillbilly, a Critter Snatcher and a Bug Muncher attend Wipeout's Country Fair before they take on the "Hill-Bullies" in the Petrified Forest, as they try to become Wipeout champion. Hosted by John Anderson (ESPN's "SportsCenter"), John Henson (E! Entertainment's "Talk Soup") and co-hosted by Vanessa Lachey (ABC's "True Beauty") "Wipeout" airs THURSDAY, AUGUST 9 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.

Each week, 24 energetic new contestants of all ages, shapes and sizes go head to head through four rounds of demanding but hilarious obstacle courses to win the title of "Wipeout Champion" and the $50,000 grand prize. In the end, only one contestant will be victorious, while everyone else will Wipeout!

"Wipeout" executive producers are Matt Kunitz ("101 Ways to Leave a Game Show" "Fear Factor") and Scott Larsen. Shye Sutherland, Kevin Wehrenberg, Trice Barto and J. Rupert Thompson are co-executive producers. The series is produced by Endemol USA. David Goldberg is the chairman of Endemol North America.

This season "Wipeout" will hit the 100th episode milestone, and we'll be celebrating all season long with brand new, over-the-top courses and the return of Jill Wagner to the "Wipeout" family. We'll have lots of special episodes, including Dirty Jobs, Newlyweds, Exes, Beauty Queens and Brains VS Brawn. Also returning are favorite specials featuring Families, Boss & Employee, Hotties VS Nerds and Blind Date. The infamous Big Balls make their return, along with new obstacles such as Octopushy, Space Pod of Doom and The Miami Pound Machine.
