Feeling it unnecessary, he does so reluctantly, and with minimal participation, until it becomes clear that this may actually help him in unexpected ways.

DESCRIPTION: (from NBC's press release, March 2013) Two current NBC series will wrap their seasons in April - two back-to-back episodes of "The New Normal" on Tuesday, April 2 (9-10 p.m. ET) and "Go On" on Thursday, April 11 (9:30 p.m. ET) - and two in March. "Whitney" will air back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, March 27 (8-9 p.m. ET) and "1600 Penn" will air its final episodes of the season on Thursday, March 28 (8:30-9 p.m. ET and 9:30-10 p.m. ET).
