But things get complicated when The Gang learns of Pop-Pop's history as a Nazi, and Mac, Charlie and Frank set off in search of the old man's spoils from the war. (from FX's press release, March 2013) FX Networks announced a slew of pickups this morning, with Justified getting a fifth season pickup on FX, while It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League and Legit will all return and move to FXX, announced John Landgraf, President & General Manager, FX Networks. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League and Legit will all move to FXX. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's ninth season will air on FXX this fall, and the network has also placed an order for a tenth season that will air in the fall of 2014. One of the most successful comedies in all of basic cable, Sunny's eighth season ranked #2 in its basic cable time period in Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 (behind only the NFL on the NFL Network) and #2 in Adults 18-34 and Women 18-34 (behind Jersey Shore). It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia stars Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, Danny DeVito and Kaitlin Olson. The show was created by McElhenney and is executive produced by McElhenney, Day, Howerton, Michael Rotenberg, Nick Frenkel, Tom Lofaro, Rob Rosell, Scott Marder and David Hornsby. The show is produced by FX Productions.
