"GOING TO EXTREMES," ON "20/20," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12 ON ABC

How far would you go to get what you wanted? "20/20" is "Going to Extremes" on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Anchored by Elizabeth Vargas, reports include:

· Father going to extremes: Hong Kong billionaire Cecil Chao is offering $65 million to any many who can sweep his 33-year-old lesbian daughter Gigi off of her feet. Jeffrey Kofman reports.

· Corsets.... the latest diet secret? That Victorian-era undergarment is getting a 21st century upgrade as people wear them to permanently "train" their waists to a smaller size. From mothers who tight-lace to get rid of post-pregnancy pounds to teenagers experimenting with their own personal style, corsets are finding a brand new audience. Deborah Roberts puts one on and gets "waist-trained" by a full-time Corset Coach. But how safe is the Corset Diet?

· Extreme Plastic Surgery: In the search for perfection, are people going too far? Meet Justin Jedlica, who calls himself the 21st century Ken doll, has had over 90 procedures and never wants to stop; and Lacey Wildd, the woman with the seventh largest breasts in the world. She supports her kids with her paid public appearances and has had to have a special system built into her body to support her triple L cup size. Sharyn Alfonsi reports.

· Immersion Journalism: Freelance writer Melanie Berliet developed a niche for herself, taking on risqu topics and doing what she calls "immersive journalism." She's written about her experiences being a topless lap dancer in secret clubs, a naked sushi model, dating married men, all in the name of journalism. This time she is looking into the explosion of stay-at-home moms who have turned to the phone sex industry for work in the difficult economy. And like all the other subjects she's covered, she is diving in and taking calls herself, being mentored by a single mom named Domino who has been a phone sex operator for the last four years, earning up to $2000 a week. Amy Robach reports.
