10/31/2012 (10:00PM - 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : CHIEF BODEN FACES ALLEGATIONS AFTER THE DEATH OF A HOMELESS MAN IN A WAREHOUSE FIRE - Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) is accused of leaving a homeless man to die in a warehouse fire after ordering his men to evacuate the scene, creating negative press and bad feeling within the department. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Severide (Taylor Kinney) helps an elderly woman facing some neighborhood problems. Detective Voight (guest star Jason Beghe) ramps up his intimidation tactics aimed at Casey (Jesse Spencer) in an attempt to discourage him from testifying against his son. Shay (Lauren German) is forced to revisit her heartbreak over her ex-girlfriend Clarice (guest star Shiri Appleby), when she finds herself face-to-face with the ex and her husband during a call. Hermann's (David Eigenberg) temper flares during a rescue call at a Halloween block party. Monica Raymund, Charlie Barnett, Teri Reeves and David Eigenberg also star.

DESCRIPTION:
(from NBC's press release, April 2013) NBC has announced the renewal of five key drama series for the 2013-14 season: "Revolution," "Chicago Fire," "Parenthood," "Grimm" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." All have been given 22-episode orders. "Chicago Fire," from Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf and creators Derek Haas and Michael Brandt, goes inside a Windy City firehouse and the lives of those who engage in one of our nation's noblest professions. In addition to Wolf, Haas and Brandt, executive producers also include Matt Olmstead, Joe Chappelle, Danielle Gelber and Peter Jankowski. The series is produced by Universal Television and Wolf Films. "Chicago Fire" has topped its premiere audience of 6.6 million persons a total of eight times this season, and the only other new drama on the broadcast networks to have done it even once this season is NBC's "Hannibal." "Chicago Fire" originals have improved the time period versus year-ago results by 24 percent ("live plus same day"). |
